Eligibility under Electoral Trust Scheme, 2013:
Donations channelled through Bharatiya Political Action Committee Electoral Trust may only be made to political parties registered under Section 29A of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Electoral Trusts must disburse ≥95% of contributions to eligible parties. Individuals may claim deduction under Sec. 80GGC; Indian companies under Sec. 80GGB. Foreign nationals, government companies, and entities operational for less than 3 years are ineligible. All donations must be via banking channels — cash donations are not permitted.
